Directors

Jelani Hawkins – Director

Jelani Hawkins has spent the last few years working with NFL veterans and NFL pre draft athletes. Jelani spent 3 years in the NFL as an offensive lineman and specializes in footwork for offensive and defensive lineman  and strength development. Jelani also works with Victor Butler in the Pittsburg Pirates System and Ron Perodin in the Minnesota Twins system.

Travelle Gaines – Director

Travelle Gainesis the Director of Pro-Athlete Development, and the founder of Performance Gaines Training System implemented at SPA, 171 current NFL players including 74 starters and 7Pro Bowlers from 2009 have worked with Gaines. Travelle has worked with both NFL and NBA athletes including: Reggie Bush, Brandon Roy(2006-2007 NBA Rookie of the Year), Bob Sanders (2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year), Kevin Durant (2007-2008 NBA Rookie of the Year)and Willie Parker (Steelers 2007 & 2008 Pro Bowl RB). As part of his duties at SPA, Travelle oversees the NFL and NBA pre-draft training program as well as an off-season NFL speed and strength program.Travelle has a successful history of preparing the nation’s top Athletes for the Combine and their Pro Day’s and enabling them for success at the next level.

Travelle spent time in 2007 and 2008 working with the Jacksonville Jaguars Strength and Conditioning staff duringtraining camp, he also spent three years as Division I strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Louisiana-Monroe and at LSU.

Jason Mitchell – Director

Jason Mitchell: Won two National Championships playing football for USC and played receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jason is a speed specialist for SPA where he has worked with numerous professional athletes looking to increase their speed. Jason personally runs a 4.38, 40 yd dash.

Heidi Giles – Boot Camp Director

Heidi has lead group boot camp courses where women from various life paths have come together to reshape their bodies. She has also had the privilege of working individually with people of a wide variety of age and fitness levels.She has found that no matter how diverse personal situations are, the one thing that we all have in common is the desire to feel good about our bodies and enjoy life. Becoming fit and working to maintain your level of fitness enriches life and allows you to experience life to the fullest.

As the mother of four Heidi knows the impact of pregnancy on the body. She also knows the importance of staying active throughout all stages of life.

Whether you are training to compete in a future event or just training for life she can facilitate your success. She can promise you that she will treat you with respect and listen to your wishes. She will construct a workout plan that willwork for you and will allow you to see results and feel good about what you are doing for your body.
